Bio
Debra was born in Banff and has explored nature in all its wildness ever since. This rich wellspring drives her painting career, both in studio and in the field. Painting the folds of land and the fresh waterways, the primal forest, and the sweeping prairie is everything. Life is better when you have a sustaining practice that holds your desire, demands attention, and requires effort. Debra simply finds a plot of ground that satisfies the wish to work and create, and by doing so, rule over an imagined world of her own.
