Bio
Becky Holuk is a Calgary-based acrylic painter. Inspired by nature and by the process of exploring mark-making with paint, her artwork is distinct, painterly, vibrant, and semi-abstract. Becky is currently represented by 4 art galleries located across Canada. Subject matter includes West Coast scenery, the Rocky Mountains, and floral/botanical imagery. Becky has a background in commercial art, having completed a year of Fine Arts at the University of Regina, and the 4-year Visual Communication program at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary. She worked as a graphic designer/illustrator for ten years before pursuing painting full-time.
