Bio
Jean is a Canadian artist, who lives and paints in Alberta and PEI. Her style is impressionistic and she is known for her strong play of movement and colour in her paintings. She is inspired to paint the drama she finds in the INTERPLAY of elements. It is in this collision of elements: such as water & rock; atmosphere & light; humans & their environments that she finds the Aha moments. She brings to life these moments by building layers, playing with light and using bold colours and brushstrokes. She has taken part in various exhibitions and shows and has collectors across Canada.
