Jasen Robillard, founder and lead designer of StumpCraft, turned his lifelong creativity into a passion for designing whimsical wooden puzzles. Initially an engineer, he shifted focus in 2016, recognizing a gap in the Canadian market for high-quality wooden puzzles featuring Canadian fine art. After a year of prototyping, StumpCraft launched in 2017 and quickly gained national recognition. For Jasen, puzzle-making is about art, storytelling, and connection. His designs celebrate Canadian fine art, history, and culture, offering a contemplative, screen-free experience. He remains committed to crafting puzzles that inspire, challenge, and bring people together while supporting meaningful causes.
