Bio
Anke Duffy is a professional artist based near Okotoks, Alberta. From her home studio, Anke paints a variety of subject matter in a realist style including portraiture, landscape, and florals in oil and acrylic mediums. Color and shapes are key components in Anke’s work and she enjoys utilizing light and shadow to create a sense of depth in her paintings. Anke obtained a BFA in Drawing at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary and is an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Leighton Art Centre, Okotoks Art Gallery, and the Alberta Society of Artists.
