Lindsay Walsh
In the reflective years since March of 2020, Lindsay became fascinated with the stories that shaped the physical world around her. Wanting to create the complexity of layers she observed in the quiet world she layered paint, scraps of discarded newspaper, and other mediums. There is a juxtaposition of freshly painted shutters against old, weathered walls that Lindsay loves to explore in her paintings. Join her while she shares the contrasts between bold geometric shapes and wise, soft, silvery organics. Through colour, texture and depth these canvases reflect the peeling back of Lindsay’s journey through her life and her art.
