Maggie Warkentin
After a successful career in interior design, Maggie is now developing a second career as a full-time acrylic artist.
She finds inspiration mostly in the surrounding natural beauty of the western provinces, but also from her travels throughout Canada and abroad.
Maggie describes her art style as a contemporary composite of realism and impressionism. Mostly self-taught, she draws on her 30+ year’s experience in design to create paintings. Through composition, capture of light and bold interpretive lines, she strives to bring a uniqueness to her art which is colourful and detailed.
