Jo Reimer
Jo has always been drawn to the expressivity that she sees in people, animals and nature. Her paintings capture a portrait of that subject and the emotion it evokes in her Jo hopes that the viewer will react to that emotion in her work. Moving from more realistic portraits in oil she now works with mixed media such as acrylic, oil, cold wax and collage. Jo combines her love of figures with abstraction. The act of painting is the meditation that keeps Jo grounded and grateful for every moment.
