Dorothy Feeley
An American living in Canada! Dorothy grew up in Pennsylvania, then Florida, and eventually Maine. She lived in Maine full-time for 10 years, eventually spending her summers in Maine and winters in Florida. she moved to Calgary, Alberta in 2019 when she married her Canadian husband.
Dorothy finds inspiration in everything around her, from music to the way a tree moves in the wind and light bounces off and through the water. She considers herself a direct expressionist painter and is known for her rich colours and Hopper-esque simplified shapes.
Dorothy studied at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia.
