Chidera Uzoka
As a 21-year-old artist and business owner, creativity takes a prominent role in her life. Chidera’s goal with DERA is to represent Black culture in a new light and to inspire people through the art she creates, showcasing the incredible people and culture. Motivated by the desire to see representation, she tries to capture the beauty of Black culture to inspire people. Many of Chidera’s pieces incorporate the colour blue, representing the depth and significance of the culture. The creation of her art business has given Chidera the privilege to learn a substantial amount about the business world while sharing her vision and passion for art.
